Birmingham, Alabama. SisterGolf will return as tournament producer for the Randall L. Woodfin 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, October 26, 2026, at Highland Park Golf Course, 3300 Highland Avenue S, Birmingham, AL 35205. This is the fifth consecutive year that SisterGolf, the Birmingham-based company founded by Shella Sylla, has produced the event.
SisterGolf teaches women in commission-driven sales how to use golf for business development, and produces the tournament as part of its broader work in the Birmingham golf community.
Producing a tournament of this size is an operations job. SisterGolf recruits, trains, and coordinates the volunteers who staff registration, the practice areas, and the course itself. The company manages vendors and catering for both waves of play, builds the pairings, and works with Highland Park Golf Course on course logistics, cart staging, and parking. SisterGolf produces the signage that marks holes, directs players, and recognizes the event throughout the property. On tournament day, the team runs execution across two shotgun starts and 36 holes of play, then supports the prize presentations that close each wave.
The 2026 tournament will use the full 36 holes at Highland Park, with four golfers per group and one group per hole. The morning wave begins with breakfast and registration at 7:00 AM and an 8:00 AM shotgun start. The afternoon wave begins with lunch and registration at 12:00 PM and a 1:00 PM shotgun start. Prize presentations for the two waves will be held at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM in the Highland Park Banquet Room.
[PLACEHOLDER QUOTE - SHELLA TO APPROVE], said Shella Sylla, founder of SisterGolf and producer of the tournament.
Four years of past tournament photos and winners, from the 2022 event through 2025, are available in the SisterGolf galleries. See the Woodfin tournament galleries.
